Chinese New Year
Chinese New year, what is its symbolism anyway? Think kids nowadays take it as a spring break where a sudden burst of income comes in and there're lots of goodies to devour. And to parents, a time to meet up with old friends and relatives, a break from work too, and not to forget some feel a hole burnt up in their pockets. haha.. anyway, the story of Nian(monster that haunts villagers on New Year's Day and is afraid of noise and the colour red) doesnt really convince me for it to be the biggest event of the Lunar. Anyway, to me, it's not too much about the money, but the blessings and the care my relatives shower upon. Especially this year, when the relatives of my mom's side have suffered through a great ordeal. Dont know how it'll turn out.
Oh well, haha. Im still happy too.. Will be visiting lots of relatives, and tonight the very eve of chinese new year, I'm gonna spend it with kent, yongkian, denise and deqi and some more peeps from 05S19 ba.. Anyhow, I got a new love for Taro pies~! haha.. =D.. pardon the pun. hmm.. just in I forget the dates: JLSL 2001 july-september. JT 2004 December-Feburary. DBT 2005 march13-september04. haha.. Blogspot is my online personal diary man. Cause most of you guys wont even know what the exact rubbish im typing out. =)
